Siggefora Camping

Here at Siggefora Camping you will find a scenic campsite in direct connection to Lake Siggefora and the beautiful Swedish nature. Our beloved campsite dates back as far as the 1930s and we are open all year round! So you are welcome to experience all seasons of the year with us.

No matter what season you visit our campsite, you will find lots of experiences and activities. In the camping area you will find 3 service houses where you will find: Showers, toilets, kitchen and laundry room. Right next to the lake we have a fantastic sauna with an equally fantastic view. A visit to the sauna is a guaranteed hit regardless of the season.

We have a total of about 130 daily pitches with electricity, 20 without and 4 cabins and one room for rent. The campsite has a kiosk, a restaurant with full rights and a playground outside for the children.

CABINS During the winter season 1/10 - 30/4 there is no water in the cabins. Pick up in the service centre.

At the campsite you will also find a restaurant where we prepare the food with the highest degree of love. We are also careful about the ingredients we use to prepare the food. Feel free to swing by the restaurant because it may well be that you eat the best meal of your life here! The restaurant also has full rights.

Here you will also find a shop with sales of basic goods and other things that can come in handy during a camping vacation. At the campsite we also have a large nice barbecue area where you can grill everything from sausages to the catch of the day.

Within the camping area we also have a very nice sandy beach with several piers. Siggeforasjön is known for its clean water and soft sandy bottom. There is also a 5 km long trail around the lake that you can walk or cycle along. The lake is also shallow, which makes it ideal for taking the children for swimming and playing.

Here you will also find a dog bath. The lake is small, which means that on hot days the water is wonderfully warm. We also have canoes and rowing boats for rent!

Outside the camping area there is plenty to see and do. There is everything from nature experiences to city experiences in Uppsala, which is about 35 km from the camping area. Here you will find trails such as Linnestigen and Upplandsleden which are among the best nature trails you can find in Uppland. Along this trail you are guaranteed to find both mushrooms and berries depending on the season.

Here you will also find Ramsmossen which is an area of untouched nature, rich flora and fauna that is unique to our latitudes. Similar nature can only be found in northern Sweden. Gårdsjö älgpark is only 12 km from the campsite and is a very popular destination if you are in the area.

Around the area you will find several small towns and villages that all have their own unique history and experiences. With the proximity to Uppsala, you can easily go there during the day and take in the city's vibes and pulse. Uppsala is packed with cultural and historical attractions. Here we can recommend Uppsala Cathedral, Uppsala Domkyrka and the art museum to name just a few examples.

The campsite is open all year round. It is adapted for the disabled. Dogs are welcome.
