Magda Säteri, 643 97 Västra Näshulta
On the Sörmländska farm Magdakullan you can experience the peace and wind of history. The farm is located at Näshulta just outside Eskilstuna. There are a total of 4 pitches, all with access to electricity.
Directly adjacent is the farm shop where you have access to a toilet.
The Priest's Lake, within walking distance of Magda Hill, is a birdwatcher's paradise. Here you can spot birds such as sea eagles, cranes, marsh hawks, greylag geese, whooper swans and much more.
Prästsjön also offers fantastic fishing, where the chances of catching a pike or perch are very high.
In the old stables, Maija, the hostess, welcomes you to a fantastic evening. The menu is largely composed from a local perspective where the restaurant itself usually says that "The beef is from the farm, the pike from next door, and the game meat from Sörmland". Fish, hamburgers and red cabbage made from red cabbage mince are just some of the specialities. At the bar you will find both local beers and wines from world-famous Tuscany.
During the day, all food is served from the counter, while in the evening orders are taken directly at the tables. If you are a group of more than eight people, please book in advance as the restaurant has a small kitchen. All food on the menus is available for takeaway.
There is also a charming little farm café where you can enjoy an organic coffee, tea and yummy pastries. Everything is of course home baked in the barn. The farm shop is stocked with Sörmländska delicacies. Here you can buy cuts of various types of sausage, organic beef, and Ister ribbons, among others.
The shop cuts the beef itself every three weeks all year round, so availability can vary. Another thing you can experience here is Magda NK - the flea market. In the store you will find a unique flea market that is truly something out of the ordinary. There are thousands of different items, ranging from antiques to modern items.Glass, porcelain, art, furniture, books and records are just some of the things you can bargain for here. The flea market is presented on two floors of the cosy timber building. The flea market is open all year round.
How about a guided cow walk? At Magdakullan you have the opportunity to learn a bit more about cows. The walk takes about half an hour and is completely free for all guests. It takes place every Saturday at 14.00 all year round and you can learn more about cows and calves, pastures and silage. In summer the tour takes place in a pasture and in winter in the barn. A wonderful and genuine experience for children and adults of all ages.
The pitches at Magdakullan are open all year round. Your pets are of course welcome here. We are able to handle your waste here. The pitches are marked with number plates on the wooden posts.
We hope you will have a pleasant stay with us at Magdakullan!
