Åsele Camping

Hello and welcome to Åsele Camping! Åsele Camping is located in the most beautiful way on the beach next to the magical Ångermanälven river in our lovely Västerbotten hinterland. Here you can stay in a cabin, tent, motorhome or caravan.

With a bit of luck, you will find a place right next to the beautiful riverbank and can then enjoy beautiful nature and brilliant views.

Please note that the cabins' showers and toilets are closed in winter. You are then welcome to use the showers and toilets in the service centres.

When you want to get away from Åsele Camping, there are of course plenty of other things to do. Only 2 km from the facility, you will find the central parts of Åsele where you will of course find both shops, systembolaget, swimming pool, pharmacy, tourist office and much more.

If you like fishing, there are also great opportunities to get a bite. In the same spirit, you will also find fine hunting grounds and hunting guidance in the area. Also, do not miss out on trying MTB cycling or taking a trip on the adventure trail.

For the golf-playing individual, you will also find an 18-hole golf course here.

If you want to get close to and above all learn about nature, you will also find a real bushcraft company that offers courses out in nature where you can learn all about wilderness and survival techniques that stem from many years of tradition in the area. Ask at the reception and we will help you.

When winter reaches Åsele, you can of course also book several winter activities such as sled dog tours, skiing of various kinds, winter fishing and of course snowmobile tours.

At Åsele camping you will also find a wellness spa run by a third party. You can come here to relax and be pampered. You can also get a haircut, pedicure and waxing in one place. Don't miss out on a nice massage!

On the third weekend in July every year, Åsele turns into a big market! More than 100,000 people flock to the centre of the town to browse and buy from one of the more than 250 market traders. Don't forget to book your accommodation well in advance as this event is incredibly popular!

Camping pitches are booked directly here online. If you want to stand next to each other, write it as a request in the confirmation. We do not have specific site reservations, but you can choose from available sites at check-in.
